新白娘子传奇是一部风靡中国及轰动华人世界的戏剧，制作方台视公司，中港台合作结晶，由赵雅芝与叶童、陈美琪合作演出。本剧是以玉山主人著作的中篇小说《雷峰塔传奇》与梦花馆主所著作的长篇小说《白蛇全传》为蓝本改编。该剧为中国最凄美浪漫的爱情神话故事，推陈出新之处在于基本每集都有台湾知名音乐制作人左宏元谱曲的“新黄梅调”唱段，使该音乐连续剧宛如“阳春白雪，天籁之音”。
