《咱们穿越吧》是中国第一档历史体验真人秀，张国立首次担任真人秀节目总导演，宋小宝、张涵予、沈腾、金圣柱等明星均为该节目贡献出自己的“处女”真人秀。节目是引进韩国《时间探险队》由中韩两国团队合作完成。本档真人秀由四川卫视、世熙传媒、华谊常升、阿里影业、耀莱影视联合投资。节目于2015年7月26日晚上8:30在四川卫视播出。
O记沙展天宝（林宝怡饰）在酒吧重遇了当日杀死妻子刑满释放的道友强，忍不住将打得他重伤入院。随后，城中富商纪中南（曾江饰）的独子彦祖（马浚伟饰）遭绑架，天宝在监视绑匪刘英勇的情妇石小玉时发现了他们收藏人质的地点，马上前往营救人质。匪徒在收到了赎金后得知了天宝正在前往营救人质，于是企图引爆炸弹将他和人质炸死，幸好天宝最后关头救出了彦祖。纪中南十分感激天宝，两人成了朋友。这日宝在差馆再遇道友强，借落口供又打了他一顿，岂料因此而被逼自动辞职。好友正杰（张兆辉饰）邀请天宝加入自己的保安公司，但天宝觉得不合适拒绝了。随后，天宝想自己做生意却又处处碰壁。这天，纪中南想请保镖，正杰知道天宝和他的关系，于是请天宝前往纪中南处为自己的公司作推荐。纪中南同意让正杰的保安公司负责，但条件是要天宝亲自负责安全工作。天宝无耐之下加入了正杰的保安公司，正式展开了他的保镖生涯。
