《龙的传人》是由金鹰卡通卫视专为中小学生打造的一档全国首档亲子国学传承节目。中国传统文化是古圣先贤千百年来的智慧结晶，是中华文化的精髓，是需要国人一代代传承下去的精华。节目将以华夏文明精粹的诗词领衔，复以文字、成语、典故等进行现代化演绎，让更多中小学生通过这档节目重视瑰宝传承。
根据罗伯特·鲍斯威尔的系列短篇故事改编，7个不同的故事衔接在一起探索人生的幻想与现实、记忆与历史的区别，以及人类处境的快乐与痛苦。
