《龙兄鼠弟》是TVB 1993年度的台庆剧，沿用九十年代的台庆剧御用班底；是金牌监制刘家豪与实力派男主角万子良继91年的《大家族》及92年的《巨人》后另一部出色作品。其他大卡士还包括张卫健、郑则仕、朱茵、陈法蓉及宣萱等。此剧更是TVB当家花旦宣萱入行初期的作品，亦是她与张卫健的订情之作。剧情讲述主角雷文凤(万梓良饰)是一位天才脑科医生，为人执著认真，对追寻心中的真理锲而不舍，甚至铤而走险，不按常规办事，因此常惹是非，是一个既不合群亦不受欢迎的人物。凤童年时其母亲垂危，因医护人员疏忽，误以为其母返魂乏术，便送往火葬场，凤亲眼目睹其母被活活烧死。可惜没有人相信凤所言，使凤幼小的心灵无法忘怀此事。凤成长期间凡事执著不茍，因而与兄弟姊妹反目成仇，而凤父雷崭由於当年签下其母死亡证明书，故凤也一直无法与他和睦共处。与家人关系恶劣的凤，自预科毕业后取得奖学金远赴美国，凭著不懈苦读，终成为杰出华人脑科医生。凤有一同居女友叶敏(宣萱饰)，是医院护士，敏一向对凤的狂妄行径感到忧虑，担心凤会惹祸。后来凤为了揭发一宗二十年前的藏尸案，竟然掀起了一场一发不可收拾的大风暴……
