森林里住了好多精灵，白衣精灵是正派，黑衣精灵是反派， 在一次战役中，白衣精灵损失惨重，白衣精灵女主意外混入人类当中并且控制一个魔法一般的床，在人类世界女主在茫茫人海中遇到了男主并彼此相爱，与男主在一起过程中遇到不少的挫折，女主能否重新振兴白衣精灵消灭敌派黑衣精灵并且和男主终成眷属呢？
《女人行》号称中国版的《欲望都市》，叙事结构很独特。全剧由四个女人为主要贯穿人物，她们之间是无话不谈的好朋友。其中又有与之相搭配的男人为辅助人物，每一集都表现一个主题，又有单集的主要人物。其中一个作为叙述者，承担全剧的叙述结构功能。故事中的人物召之即来，挥之即去，快进快出，灵活自由。四个主要人物之的交往和各自的情感故事贯穿全剧。由她们引领全剧，同时每集又有各自独立的其他人物故事出现，通过叙述者交织成网络状。全部从结构上采用单元式。即每单一集讲一个相对独立的主题故事。《女人行》讲的就是都市的男欢女爱，但它讲的犀利，一点也不假装，它讲得透彻，一点也不牵强。红尘滚滚，真情难觅，那种刻骨铬心的感觉不是爱，而是无法排遣孤独。
