2019年是新中国成立70周年、中国人民解放军建军92周年，从新中国成立，到进入新时代，中华民族的砥砺奋进，离不开中国军人的奋勇拼搏。《我们站立的地方》将取景框对准七位中国边防军人，通过纪录他们的热血坚守，全景展现新时代军人心有大我、赤诚报国的热血风采。节目将从大处着眼、小处着笔，以家国双线叙事徐徐讲述普通人的英雄故事。
