Netflix宣布其首部自家制片的多镜头新喜剧﹑以青少年为目标的《Alexa & Katie》13集首季于美国时间3月23日上线，该喜剧由Paris Berelc及Isabel May主演。 《Alexa & Katie》由Heather Wordham主创﹑Matthew Carlson负责制片，讲述两个长年好友Alexa（Paris Berelc）及Katie（Isabel May），她们正热切期待成为高校新生，但一些风波弄得她们自觉成了圈外人，然而重要的是好友还在身边。Alexa目前正在接受化疗，但这没动摇她外向的性格及对生活的热情，而Katie是个忠于朋友﹑性格古怪的可爱女生。

《可可、可心一家人》每集8分钟，独立成章。这部动画剧摒弃了中国动画片创作上多年形成的儿童人物也一味“高、大、全”，美术风格单一化，观众群体低龄化的弱点，将信息时代的多元化思维应用于中国动画片的创作实践。在人物的设计上，力争做到个性化、生活化、立体化。导演杨子岚是有感于《樱桃小丸子》和《蜡笔小新》热播，才产生创造中国动画儿童明星形象的念头的。她说，中国观众迫切需要一部以当代中国家庭生活为背景，同时面向成人和儿童的系列家庭幽默动画短剧。
