《外来媳妇本地郎》是广东广播电视台拍摄的以粤语为主要语言的一部情景喜剧，描述了广州老城区一个有着四个儿子的大家庭，娶了天南海北的四个外地媳妇，由于生活习惯和文化背景的差异，产生了一系列的喜剧故事。这些喜剧故事无一例外都来自于生活，有着鲜活的时代特色，因此，外来媳妇本地郎又可谓是一部紧贴生活、反映时代现状的情景喜剧。
