故事发生在隋朝末年，寇仲（陈国坤 饰）和徐子陵（方力申 饰）是成日里无所事事的小混混，两人虽为情同手足的好兄弟，但个性却截然相反，寇仲心思活络，性格圆滑多变，而徐子陵则忠厚老实，一心想要过淡泊平安的生活。
