《人生加减法》是一档健康生活方式体验类节目，节目组在全国范围内寻找到有着不良生活习惯、性格各异、标签明确的14位学员，他们因为不健康的生活习惯，导致身材走样，成为生活的失意者。节目组为他们打造了一个“加减学院”，在学院内有着1位校长，3位班主任及各科老师，14位学员要在这里度过100天的时间，他们将在体能训练、饮食管理、兴趣爱好的培养等健康生活方式的影响下，改掉不良生活习惯、减重塑形、找回健康、找回人生主动权，完成身体与心灵的双重蜕变。
