TVB曾在94年请金超群班底拍摄《包青天》 续集，拍完第五单元滴血红梅后，原本决定再开30集，但此时因制作方卷款潜逃，金超群本人没有拿到制作费用，便上香港索取，无线高层为此大为不满，认为有失颜面。于是双方闹上法庭，金超群扬言如果无线不肯公开承认错误，便要对薄公堂。没有拿到索赔，谁也别想播出《包青天》，于是，云集了港台当家小生花旦的港资台制《包青天》至今仍被无线仓底。
